Dawn Institute is an educational nonprofit in Indian Falls, California, dedicated to teaching sustainable agriculture, environmental stewardship, and community resilience. Our farm-based learning programs serve students, educators, and community members across the Lost Sierra region through hands-on experiences rooted in real-world application. We partner with local schools and organizations to offer field trips, workshops, and curriculum support that inspire ecological literacy and food system awareness. As we rebuild from the Dixie Fire, we remain focused on creating inclusive, land-based educational opportunities for all ages. At Dawn Institute, learning grows from the ground up.
